Durrett’s O&P was founded by Certified Orthotist Robert L. Durrett in 1958. He opened his first practice on Scott Street in Covington, KY.  Robert’s practice continued to grow and Robert’s son Ronald began working for his father’s orthotic practice in the early 1970's. In 1979 they moved to Dixie Highway in Erlanger, KY and in 1986 Durrett’s moved again to Edgewood, where the practice is still located today.  In 1988 Ronald became certified in Prosthetics allowing the business to grow even more and in 1994 he bought the practice from his father. In 1996, Ronald’s daughter Suzie joined the Durrett’s staff and in 2019 she became the third generation owner of Durrett’s Orthotics and Prosthetics.

Durrett’s O&P is committed to both quality patient care and the latest orthotic and prosthetic technology and products. Every patient receives individualized evaluation and fitting of their orthosis and/or prosthesis to meet their functional goals in an effort to achieve the best outcome. Continuing education allows our practitioners to utilize the latest technology and techniques to better meet the needs of their patients. We want you to be involved in your care and will listen to what your goals are.

As a full-service orthotic and prosthetic provider, Durrett’s O&P accepts most private insurances as well as Medicare and Kentucky and Ohio Medicaid. Please check with us to verify your insurances prior to service or appointment.
